A long-lasting perennial seed mix filled with a colorful assortment of American native and naturalized species.   For use across the U.S. except high altitude, low rainfall and extreme winter cold conditions.   Plant in early spring as soon as the ground can be lightly worked.  Please remember that if some species begin germanation in two to three  weeks and there is a frost, new seedlings will be killed, so plant around April 1st.   Many native species do not bloom the first year but use the first year for root establishment.   Many   of the above, however,  will bloom the first year especially if given supplemental water during dry times.  Never oversoak.   A mist is ideal, but will require daily application.   When species have firm establishment, watering only during drought is necessary if water is available.  The above mix can be fall seeded for  spring establishment.   Compensate for loss of seeds over the winter by planting extra seed.   Plant seeds no more than 1/8 inch deep (barely cover) in a prepared seed bed or raked soil.   Try to provide a well drained site/seedbed.    Fertilizer is not necessary, but if in a garden setting a solution such as Miracle Grow is good as long as you are not fertlizing weeds.   In a large area you may mow every 3-4 weeks at as high as your mower will allow (at least 6 inches)  to keep any weeds from setting heads during establishment only before flower heads develop.       This also helps the seedlings to thicken up with increased sunshine to the root of the plant.   Full establishment takes time but some species will show up quickly, a lot depends on weather and the success of root establishment.
