Tall, narrow Blue Vervain plants have erect branches and pointed, coarsely-toothed leaves hold loose clusters of small flowers on upright spikes. Blue Vervain flowers bloom through the summer months. This moisture lover occurs naturally in wet prairies, low prairies and along streambanks throughout the tallgrass prairie region.
