Recently, interest in Eastern Gamagrass has increased because of its potential use for high quality forage, soil conservation, and wildlife habitat. PMK-24 Eastern Gamagrass grows best in full sun, but will tolerate light shade. Prefers moist, moderately well drained, fertile soils. Has low salt tolerance.
