PM6 Cool Season Pasture (Grasses)
The most popular cool season grazing mix on the Central Plains. Presently used on thousands of acres, some stands being decades old, PM6 contains Orchardgrass, Intermediate Wheatgrass, Meadow Brome, Smooth Brome and Creeping Foxtail. Diverse species site adaptation promotes good grass cover on well drained uplands and swampy lowlands. PM6 is highly digestible and has high protien throughout the season. It is widely adapted to irrigated gound of virtually any soil type, from course sands to fine clays or dryland east of Interstate 35. PM6 has remained productive with as little as 2 gallon per minute per acre irrigaion systems and responds bountifully with plentiful irrigation or rainfall.
