Dalea candida

Is found mainly on the prairie east of the Rocky Mountains. Drought tolerant with a deep tap root. Grows 1-3 ft. in height. A nitrogen fixing legume that flowers June through August. Prefers full sun. It can be found at elevations up to 8,000 ft.
