A long-lived, small to medium sized bunchgrass which thrives in zones of 15”-18” of precipitation and up to 12,000’ in elevation. Growth starts in early spring. Can be difficult to establish but once established can be very productive. Does not tolerate flooding or high water tables. Good palatability
