Sporobolus cryptandrus

A bunchgrass which is well adapted to lower elevations in the 7-12” precipitation zone. It can be found in elevations up to 7,000ft. It can grow 2-3’ tall and is palatable when young. Establishes easily and is an excellent erosion control species. A very small seed with approximately 5,300,000 seeds per lb.
