Alkaligrass is a cool-season sod-forming grass that grows from 12”-18” in height and is found throughout the West up to 8,000ft. in elevation. Alkaligrass has an aggressive, shallow root system that is able to withstand periodic flooding. An excellent reclamation species that is also sometimes used as a turfgrass.
