A long-lived dense sod-former in areas with over 18”of precipitation. Grows from 18”-24” tall. It is the most predominant lawn grass in the Rocky Mountain West and when given its preferred growing conditions and proper care, this grass produces a dense, lush, durable lawn. Very cold hardy with good disease resistance. It can be found at elevations up to 8,000 ft.
