A long-lived weakly rhizomatous grass that does best with precipitation above 16” annually. Very productive. Spring seeding recommended. Seeds germinate and plants develop quickly and recover quickly after cutting or grazing. Compatible in mixes that contain legumes. It can be found at elevations up to 10,000 ft.
