Prairie Sandreed is a long-lived sod forming prairie grass that grows from 2-6 feet tall. It is found on elevations from 2,000 to 6,000 ft. A valuable soil-binder Used for grazing, hay, and soil stabilization. Fair to good drought and cold tolerance, but poor salt and high water table tolerances. Prairie Sandreed grows best in areas receiving 10-20” of precipitation.
