A long-lived, drought tolerant, sod-former adapted in areas up to 11,500ft in elevation. Excellent establishment in areas with 8 or more inches of precipitation. Fairly low growing (approx. 12 inches) and works well as a turf grass if not overwatered or mowed too short. Bluish-green in color. Excellent for re-vegetation, but not much forage value for livestock.
