Buffalograss

Call for Pricing

A short, dense, sod-forming, palatable grass. It does not perform well in higher elevations (above 6,500 ft). Buffalograss generally grows from 4-6” in height and sends out above ground stolons which are quite aggressive once mature. Very low-yielding. Often planted with Blue Grama, Sideoats Grama, and Western Wheatgrass. Newer turf-type varieties are bred for disease resistance and a deeper green color.
