A semi-evergreen forb that is deep-rooted and drought tolerant. It is found primarily in the sagebrush-grass and juniper areas. Pink flowers bloom in the summer. Recommended pure stand seeding rate is 20 lb. per acre. Will not persist in areas with less than 14” of precipitation. Grows 6”-25” in height on elevations from 1,000-6,000 ft.
