A strongly rhizomatous shrub found on sites up to 9,000 ft. in elevation. Normally grows from 12 – 30 inches tall and is commonly found in the foothills, plains, and prairies of western North America. Establishes quickly. Aromatic and moderately palatable. Also sometimes known as Louisiana, White, Cudweed Sagebrush or Sagewort.
