Wheat X Wheatgrass

Regreen is an annual wheat x wheatgrass hybrid which produces a sterile plant. It is often used after a fire as it establishes quickly and holds the soil while other slower growing native species are getting established. The deep root system makes the plant drought tolerant and winter hardy.
